ECRTA GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS
The General Membership Meetings of the Erie County Retired Teachers Association for 2023-2024 will be held on:
* Friday, October 13, 2023 - Program - Chris Parthemore from the Sandusky State Theater
* Friday, December 8, 2023 - Program - Perkins H.S. Choir under Director R. Gernovich
* Friday, February 9, 2024 - Program - Birding in Ohio, in Particular Erie County
* Friday, April 12, 2024 - Program - Riley's Angels, a Therapy Dog Training
* Friday, June14, 2024 - Program - Our Honored Grant Recipients
* Luncheon is served before each meeting.
* Luncheons begin at 12:00 Noon - $12.00 per person - Buffet Style
* There are no meetings in July, August and September.
The meetings are conducted at the: American Legion
3615 Hayes Ave.
Sandusky
Each attendee is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item donation for the designated community service group recipient for each meeting.
Guests are welcomed. Feel free to bring a recently retired teacher from your area to one of our meetings. This would be a great way to introduce them to the benefits of ECRTA/ORTA membership! A luncheon reservation must also be made for guests.

RESERVATIONS
*Reservations and/or cancellations are made through the Contact Committee - Debbie McGuire, Chairperson : 419-504-9650
If you make a lunch reservation and then cannot attend, you must cancel by 12:00 noon on the Friday prior to the meeting date or you will be charged for the meal. The caterer charges ECRTA for missed lunch reservations, so ECRTA will need to charge you. If your call is past the Friday cancellation deadline, and you find you cannot make the meeting, your lunch can be boxed so that it may be delivered to you after the meeting. Call Connie Jackson (419-625-3209) to make arrangements to get your boxed lunch. If you know someone who is attending the meeting, you might request that they bring your lunch to you. Otherwise, we will have a volunteer deliver it to you after the meeting.
50 / 50 FUNDRAISER
A 50/50 Fundraiser will be held at all meetings. Proceeds will go to our Teacher Grants.
ECRTA LUNCHEON MEETING WEATHER CANCELLATION
*Level 2 or higher, then luncheon will be cancelled
*President will reschedule the luncheon within the next several weeks
- The exception may be December.
*The President will call the Contact Chairperson
*The 1st VP will contact the speaker with cancellation and rescheduled date
*The Calling Committee people will call their members giving them all the important information
*If reservations have already been turned in and food purchased, the American Legion will accept those reservations at the rescheduled meeting. If someone cannot make the rescheduled meeting, and the person turned in a reservation, that person will not be asked to pay.
